In the frame of “Supporting Gifted and Talented Youth Programme” initiated by the President of Georgia, successful schoolchildren in Kakheti region were awarded with golden and silver medals. First Deputy Minister of Education and Science Koka Sepherteladze together with the representatives of local self government body handed over golden and silver medals to 154 best students.

In total, there are 66 golden and 87 silver medals holders in the schools of kakheti region. Awarding ceremony of the school students took place in Telavi public school №1. First Deputy Minister positively assessed their performance in High School Graduation and Unified National Exams and wished them success.

Majority of school students of Kakheti region performed well in the high school graduation exams. Some of them got the highest scores and received a portable computer as a gift from the President of Georgia.

Awarding the best students with medals will be continued in the future as well.
