Two days friendship cup basketball tournament of the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia was organized. There were 4 teams participating in the tournament, teams of the program “Teach and Learn with Georgia”, Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, Embassy of the United States of America to Georgia and Peace Corps Georgia.

Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Dimitri Shashkini and Country Director of Peace Corps Georgia Richard Record took part in the opening of the tournament.

As members of the tournament stated, such events help popularization of different kinds of sports and healthy life style. In this regard, such tournaments will be organized annually.

At the end of the tournament, winner team was awarded friendship cup.
