Many infrastructural, technological and programmatic changes are planned in education system from the new academic year. Today, Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Dimitri Shashkini visited Tbilisi Public School №122 to observe the process of providing the school with new desks and to get familiarized with reconstruction works implemented at school.
Improvement of educational infrastructure in Georgia is one of the top priorities of the Ministry. 350 Public Schools throughout Georgia will be rehabilitated by the beginning of the new academic year. 12 new schools have been built. These schools will be refurbished with new equipments. In the scope of the program “Einstein” the schools will be provided with 900 natural science laboratories. Smart Boards will also be provided to schools. All 1st graders and their teachers throughout Georgia will get 60 000 net-books.
Tbilisi Public School №122 is between those 20 schools that showed the best results in High School Exams. The Best Schoolchild 2011 also studies here. All initiatives of the Ministry are successfully implemented in the school.
School Principal Lali Raminashvili had very good results in the School Principals Contest. She successfully passed certification exams in Professional Skills, English language and IT skills and now her salary equals to 1000 GEL.
