This year, for the first time, Georgia Post is involved in textbook distribution process. Parents are able to subscribe to textbook home delivery on web-page of Georgian Post. Courier will deliver textbook to the family.

Many families have already ordered this service. Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Dimitri Shashkini and Head of Board of Trusties of Georgian Post Kakha Baindurashvili visited the family, which was the first to order the service. Dimitri Shashkini and Kakha Baindurashvili attended the process of textbook delivery.

The family had selected the textbooks from the special information leaflet “School Textbooks” and Georgian Post guaranteed their home delivery.

Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between Ministry and Georgian Post. According to the Memorandum, by September 14, Georgian Post will also ensure provision of textbooks to socially vulnerable families.
