New dormitory and hotel are being built at the Kobuleti vocation college “New Wave”. Construction is financed by Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia. Minister Dimitri Shashkini visited the college and got familiarized with construction works.
Development of regional centers is the priority for the Ministry. Kobuleti vocational college will have modern teaching environment, with technical equipments as well as new dormitory. 30 new classrooms will also be built in the college. About 300 students from Adjara, Guria, Imereti and Samegrelo will be able to study at the college.
International conferences, trainings and seminars will be carried out in new modern hotel at the Kobuleti vocational college. Foreign specialist and experts often visit the college. Some exchange students study here as well.
At the college “New Wave”, there are several training programs, mostly in the field of tourism.
70% of the college graduates are employed at hotels: “Sheraton Batumi”, “Radisson”, “Georgian Palace”, “Piaza”, “Oasis”, “Elbakuri”, “Savane” etc.
