Representatives of different Russian oppositional parties showed their interest in educational reforms that are now being implemented in Georgia. They met with the Minister and visited the newly opened Teachers’ House.
As the Minister stated, it should be seen as significant that reforms implemented in Georgia are of interest to other countries throughout the world, especially Russia.
During the scope of meeting, Russian oppositionists visited the laboratory of Physics and center for distant learning at Teachers’ House and attended teachers’ trainings. The Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Dimitri Shashkini, provided guests with information on High School CAT Exams, program “Teach and Learn with Georgia”, Resource Officers’ service, and other new initiatives.
