The Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Nodar Surguladze, visited Ozurgeti Public School №5 and opened the lingo phone cabinet. The Deputy Minister also presented personal computers to 21 tenth graders of Guria region.
The Lingo phone cabinet has been refurbished and fully equipped by the school alumni Paata Tsanava as part of the school's Alumni program. The total cost of the constructing the cabinet was 20000 GEL. This new cabinet, replete with special educational programs, will raise the efficiency of English language teaching-learning. The Deputy Minister expressed gratitude to Paata Tsanava for his contribution in development of educational environment for Ozurgeti schoolchildren.
In the scope of the program “My First Computer,” initiated by the President of Georgia, Nodar Surguladze also presented personal computers to the successful schoolchildren of Chokhatauri, Lanchkhuti and Ozurgeti. The personal computers have been assembled at a computer factory in Georgia. From now on, all successful schoolchildren will be provided with these computers assembled in Georgia.
