A new school was built in Mukhurani village

The first Deputy of the Minister of Education and Science of Georgia-Koka Seperteladze, Governor of Imereti Region-Lasha Makatsaria and majority MP of Tkibuli region-Paliko Kublashvili opened a new school in Mukhurani village, which meets international standards. 

The old school building of Mukhurani village was destroyed in fire in the 90’s of the previous century. The village students had to study in an old store building and in family homes. Upon the decision of the Ministry, a new modern school was built in the village. The school building is made of wood and is fully adapted to the environment. 

The new school will accommodate 100 students. It is equipped with new desks and school supplies. There is a conference hall, a lab of natural science, English language corner and a library in the building.

  In the year of 2011, 12 new schools were opened in Georgia for the first time; almost 400 schools were newly renovated.
