Minister Met the Principals of the Private Schools

The Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Dimitri Shashkini, and the Deputy Minister, Giorgi Chakhnashvili, met with all principals from private schools to personally introduce them to the Georgian Government's ten-section action-plan. The meeting was held in the Teacher’s House. The Minister spoke about the reforms undertaken in the
general education system and also covered current projects, programs and future plans.
The Ministry continues to actively support the nation's private schools; this fact was received positively and reinforced during the meeting.
Currently, all private schools have package of documents which regulate their educational programs, curriculum, and school management issues. All these documents fully meet the requirements of Georgian legislation.
The Principals had the opportunity to ask questions of the Minister and Ministry officials as a part of this working meeting.
