Tbilisi City Court hosted schoolchildren of various public schools as part of the public law project. In particular, the court organized a seminar on the issues of human rights, which was also attended by the First Deputy Minister, Koka Sepherteladze. During the Q&A format, the schoolchildren had the opportunity to ask questions to the deputy Minister and the Chair of the Tbilisi City Court.

On 10 December 1948, United Nations General Assembly's adopted and proclaimed the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR), the first global enunciation of human rights.

The Declaration represents the first global expression of rights to which all human beings are inherently entitled. It consists of 30 articles which have been elaborated in subsequent international treaties, regional human rights instruments, national constitutions and laws.

“It is important that adults are trained in the human rights issues; that is why, we have invited them to the seminar. We believe that they can play a very important role in fighting against the violation of human rights," stated the Chair of Tbilisi City Court.
