Minister Shashkini met the Principles of Public Schools

During the meeting with the principles
of public schools, the Minister of Education and Science spoke about the
planned reforms in the educational system, concrete problems existing at
schools nowadays and the ways of solving them.
At this meeting, the Minister also discussed other important issues such as branding of schools, which will foster healthy competition in general educational system. Branding of schools will be carried out by each school on its own in Tbilisi and the regions of Georgia. School principles will be actively involved in this process.

Minister also talked about replacing physical culture with sport; improving school infrastructure and the planned reforms in 2010-2011 years. Minister Shashkini answered questions of the principles and listened to their concerns.
