The Ministry will employ up to 300 Internally displaced teachers

According to the initiative of Minister Shashiki, around 300
internally displaced teachers will be employed in a period of one month.
Minister personally met the teachers from Samachablo and Akhalgori and discussed
the details of their possible employment in different schools. The employment process
will be carried out by the Union of Employers and the Ministry of Education and
Science according to the teachers residence locations. This issue caused a great
interest from the teachers side and they thanked the Minister for helping them
to solve their problems.
Another painful issue was discussed at the meeting, namely the restoration of lost diplomas during 2008 war. According to the Minister’s decision, all teachers will receive restored diplomas by addressing to the National Center for Educational Accreditation with the relative request.
The teachers, who wish to pass the exams of certification, will be provided with the vouchers out of turn.
The registration of the refugee teachers for employment began on 15, February.
