The special committee was created to elaborate exam programs for the teachers of music, fine and applied art. The committee meeting was attended by the Minister, Dimitri Shashkini and the Minister of Culture, Nika Rurua.

The representatives of different fields of art and experts of the Ministry of Education and Science will work together to develop the exam program for the teachers of esthetics.

Last year, teachers of physical education, music, fine and applied art passed the exams in professional skills only, next year, they will also take a subject test.

The National Center for Teacher Professional Development under the Ministry will retrain the teachers of esthetics in respective subject and provide necessary assistance with regard to certification exam. Upon a successful performance in the exams, the teachers of esthetics, physical education, music, fine and applied art will get a salary increase.
