Dimitri Shashkini Presented Gifts to Tbilisi school for Blind and Visually Impaired Children №202

During his visit to school for blind and visually impaired children №202, Minister Shashkini presented the
schoolchildren with Braille printing machine, text-books printed with Braille
system and other tactical educational materials. The equipment and other
educational materials were financed by UNICEF grant project. The teachers, who
will work at this Braille script were retrained as well.
46 children are studying at Tbilisi school of blind children №202, 23 of them use the boarding school service. The school is actively involved in the public activities and is focused on the social adaptation of the schoolchildren.
Children graduating from School for blinds and visually impaired successfully pass Unified Entry Exams every year. Exam materials are published with special Braille transcript for them.
