Registration of students for the Unified Entry Exams will be held from the 6th February to the 23rd March. All twelfth graders are asked to register online on the website of National Examination Center - www.naec.ge; online.naec.ge.
The following new features have been introduced for the 2012 Unified Entry Exams:
From 2012 on, the entrant can register online via web sites, choose the respective faculties and modify their choice before the registration process is over.
Students have the opportunity to choose among 20 different faculties instead of the previous seven. The new approach gives wider choice to prospective students, though they will be enrolled at the respective institutions based on one choice only. Final results of the exams will be announced earlier, in August, which will make the entire process less stressful both for parents and students.
Starting in 2010, students have taken the fourth exam along with three compulsory ones.
Starting in 2012, the minimal competency level for Medical and Law faculties will be increased by 10% and will be 35% and 30% respectively. In 2011, the minimal competence level in three subjects was defined as of 25% and in foreign language- 20%.
