Minister met with Barry Jackson

In the scope of his visit in USA, the Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Dimitri Shashkini, met with Chief of Staff of the Speaker of the House of the US Representatives, Barry Jackson.

During the meeting, the Minister discussed the current democratic reforms implemented in Georgia. Barry Jackson found the successful educational project “Teach and Learn with Georgia” especially interesting. As he affirmed, similar projects are being successfully implemented in different countries of the world and Georgian schoolchildren will benefit a lot from being taught foreign languages by native speakers.

Barry Jackson evaluated the Georgian education reforms as being very successful. As he stated, current education projects are aimed for development intellectual and cognitive skills of Georgian schoolchildren.
