International Education Fair 2012, which is organized by the Ministry, the Tbilisi Mayor’s Office, and the exhibition center “ Expo Georgia”, was opened by the Minister, Dimitri Shashkini.
The exhibition will be held from the 23th of February till the 26th of February and 81 Georgian educational institutions and 13 international universities will present their programs to a large audience.
Organization of such educational events is very important as it supports promotion of new initiatives in the field of international education.
The educational programs that are offered by Georgian educational institutions fully meet modern educational standards; moreover, all citizens of Georgia have full access to these quality programs. According to research undertaken under the aegis of the UN, Georgia tops the fifth place among the countries in terms of the "access to education" indicator.
All interested persons will have opportunity to obtain information regarding the educational programs run by private and public institutions. Apart from the educational institutions, international and donor organizations also participate in the exhibition.
“Open door days” will b also organized in the scope of the event.
