Batumi hosted International Association of University Presidents

On February 25-27 hotel “Radisson Batumi” hosted the conference of International Association of University Presidents (IAUP), which was organized by the Caucasus University with support of other universities and the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia.
More than 50 presidents and rectors of the universities of Europe, Black Sea Region, USA and Africa took part in the conference.Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Nodar Surguladze as well as State Minister for Reintegration Eka Tkeshelashvili and Chief Advisor of State Minister for Euro-Atlantic Integration Tamar Beruchashvili delivered speeches at the conference.
The aim of the conference was to enhance cooperation between the universities.IAUP is an association of university chief executives from higher education institutions around the world. Membership is limited to those individuals who serve as presidents, rectors or vice-chancellors at regionally accredited colleges or universities.
