Contests on “Europe’s Day”

The Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, Tbilisi City Council and Tbilisi City Assembly jointly organize the following contests for the schoolchildren to mark “Europe  Day”:
  • Drawing competition for I-VI graders , topic – Tbilisi- European City;
  • Photo contest for VII-XII graders, topic – Tbilisi- European City;
  • web competition for VII-XII graders, Tbilisi- European City;

First Deputy Minister, Koka Sepherteladze and the chair of Tbilisi City Assembly, Zaal Samadashvili presented the terms and conditions of these competitions to the schoolchildren of Tbilisi Public school #77.

The completed works shall be submitted to the respective resource centers by 24th of April.

The best contestants will be identified by the jury and awarded by the Ministry, Tbilisi City Council and City Assembly.

Europe Day has been marked from 1950. The day is also known as Schuman Day, commemorating the historical declaration by French foreign minister Robert Schuman.
