Georgian Language House was opened in Tsalka

Fifth Georgian Language House will start operation in Kvemo Kartli region. First Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Koka Sepherteladze and Governor of Kvemo Kartli region Davit Kirkitadze opened a new Georgian Language House in Tsalka.

The Language House in Tsalka is equipped with all necessary audio and video apparatus and visual materials. Here, the ethnic minority population will be able to take intensive trainings in the Georgian language. 

Georgian Language Houses will be gradually opened in all ethnic minority regions. Five Georgian Language Houses are already functioning in the regions of Samtskhe-javakheti and Kvemo Kartli.

The opening of new Georgian Language House in Tsalka on April 14 is very symbolic, as today, Georgia celebrates Georgian Language Day.
