The Minister met the Minister of State of the German Federal Foreign Office

The Minister of
Education and Science, Mr. Dimitri Shashkini held a meeting with one of the
Ministers of State of the German Federal Foreign Office, Mrs. Cornelia Pieper, who
paid a working visit to Georgia.
Mrs Pieper and the other members of delegation were given up-to-date information on current education reforms. The two sides also discussed enhancement of instruction of German language at Georgian secondary schools and supporting launching of the mutual exchange programs among the school students. The Germans side expressed readiness to continue providing a support to those schools where German language is instructed.
