President opened new vocational college in Kobuleti

New vocational college “Akhali Talga” was opened by the President of Georgia Mikhail Saakashvili and Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Dimitri Saakashvili in Kobuleti. School buildings have been refurbished with modern equipments. New hostel has also been built at the college. The students of the region will be able to study and become professional in their own region.

Kobuleti Professional College “Akhali Talga” offers specialties mainly in those fields that are priority for the region: tourism business, hotel management, tour guide, cook, receptionist, barman, among others.

The teachers of the college have passed several trainings. The college developed new educational programs that meet modern recruitments. More than 500 students already registered at the educational programs of the college. The process of issuing 1000 GEL worth education vouchers is still underway.

Development of vocational education system is the priority for the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia. Ministry rehabilitates the vocational colleges throughout Georgia and equips them with up-to-date technologies. 75 % of graduates of vocational colleges are already employed.
