Dates for High School Leaving Exams, MA and Certification Exams have been announced

Ministry of Education and
Science of Georgia has approved the schedule for High School leaving Exams, MA
and Teacher Certification Exams. High School leaving Exams will begin on May 21
and end on May 30.
Schedule of exams for 2012:
- May 21-Georgian Language and Literature, Georgian as Second Language
- May 22-Foreign Language
- May 23-History
- May 24-Geography
- May 25-Physics
- May 28-Chemistry
- May 29-Biology
- May 30-Mathematics
In regards to MA Examinations, test in Reading Comprehension and Analytical Writing will take place on July 12; tests in Logical Thinking and Quantitative Reasoning will be conducted on July 13.
Teacher Certification Exams for 2012 will be conducted from July 2 through July 19.
Detailed Schedule of Exams:
- July 2 through July 5-General Skills Exams
- July 6- Georgian Language and Literature (Grades VII- XII)
- July 11-Geography, Biology, History, Chemistry, Mathematics (for grades 7 through 12)
- July 12- for Primary School Teachers ( Grades 1 through 6)
- July13- Georgian Language and Literature, Mathematics, Natural Science (Grades 1 through 7)
- July 18-19-Foreign Languages
It must be mentioned that competence level for exams for 2011-2012 academic year is 5.5. Similar to last year, High School Exams will be conducted with CAT Examination Model in eight subjects.
