In the scope of “Summer Jobs Program”, Ministry of Economy will hire 2500 students. Today, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Vera Kobalia and First Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Koka Sepherteladze met with the participants of the project. Vera Kobalia personally informed the students about their future jobs and responsibilities.
Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development will employ the students on different jobs at Georgian Railway, United Airports of Georgia, Georgian Air Navigation, National Tourism Administration of Georgia, Georgian National Hydrographic Agency, Civil Aviation Agency, Borjomi Park Restoration and Development Foundation, Georgian Post, constructing companies, state enterprises, and municipalities.
This President-initiated program for students’ employment, “Summer Jobs,” will begin in all regions of Georgia on July 20, and will last till August 20. All bachelor students of authorized higher education institutions of Georgia are able to take part in this students’ employment program. In the scope of the program, 25,000 students will have a chance to work in summer jobs. Their salary will be 500 GEL.
