The Olympiad was opened on April 27th by the President of Georgia and Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia and representatives of 31 different countries took part in it.
The competition is held under the patronage of the President and with support of the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia and is restricted to 7th through 12th grade participants.
International Young Inventors Project Olympiad is organized by Chaglar Educational Institutions, the number of participating countries increases every year, participants are especially interested in submitting the projects in Math, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
Foreign participants of the Olympiad live in Georgian host families and getting familiar with Georgian culture and traditions. Participants also share their diverse experience during their stay in Georgia.
The Olympiad is being held for the sixth time, this year it has attracted more participants compared to the previous years.
