A new school is being constructed in the village of Chibati

The Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia is building a new school in the village of Chibati in Lanchkhuti district. This process is administered by the Ministry’s Educational Scientific Infrastructure Development Agency. Today, the Minister Dimitri Shashkini, closely observed the construction site of the construction. 

The school of Chibati was in need of repair, the maintenance works in the building started last year, from 2012, the schoolchildren will have opportunity to study in a completely new school.

The institution will be provided with up to date technical facilities including heating system; lab, computer class and library will be also furnished.

Rehabilitation and upgrading of the school infrastructure is one of the priorities of the government of Georgia. Maintenance and construction works are being carried out throughout Georgia. 600 schools are planned to be built and 23 schools constructed in the coming year.
