The Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Dimitri Shashkini met the Minister of Education of Lithuania, Gintaras Steponavičius and introduced him to Georgia’s current educational reforms.
Mr. Steponavičius learnt about the resource officers and expressed the readiness to introduce them to Lithuanian educational institutions.
The two sides also agreed on launching exchange programs for the Georgian and Lithuanian students and academic staff of the higher educational institutions of both countries.
In the scope of his visit to Georgia, the Minister Gintaras Steponavičius was also introduced to those projects and programs that are underway in education sphere, among them CAT exams, enhancement of learning of Exact and Natural Science subjects at schools, etc..
