Deputy Minister congratulated the graduates on completion of the studies and
wished them success in their future endeavors.
This year, American Academy has 45 graduates; many of them plan to continue
their studies abroad at the higher educational institutions of the US, the UK.
Nevertheless, they hope they will be able to start their careers in
Georgia.
American Academy was founded in 2001 in Tbilisi by Guivy Zaldastanishvili,
Georgian businessman. It has 290 alums, attending colleges and universities
throughout the US, the UK, Europe, and in Tbilisi, at institutions like
Harvard, West Point, Middlebury, Williams, WPI, Bard, American University in
Paris, CEU, Bocconi, and St. Andrews University in Scotland.
Last year, Guivy Zaldastanishvili American Academy was nominated as the best
private school in Georgia by the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia.
Academy applies modern innovative pedagogical methods in the learning process,
at the same time; it pays a great attention to the teaching of Georgian History
and Culture.
