Meeting with the teachers of Sunday Schools

22 emigrant teachers of Georgian Sunday Schools in Great Britain, Germany, France, Greece and Ukraine are taking 3-day training courses in Georgian language, History and Geography at Teacher’s House. Training courses have been developed as a result of consultations in accordance to the emigrant teachers’ requirements.

Today, Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Dimitri Shashkini, State Minister of Georgia for Diaspora Issues Paata Davitaia and Director of National Center for Teacher Professional Development Gia Mamulashvili held meeting with the immigrant teachers. During the meeting, Minister discussed the current reforms of education system with the teachers and presented them with net-books.

In the scope of Days of Diaspora, 55 immigrant teachers are visiting Georgia. Teacher’s House will continue cooperation with Georgian Sunday Schools abroad.
