The meeting was attended by the Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Mr. Dimitri Shashkini, Minister of Labor, Health and Social protection of Georgia, Mr. Zurab Chiaberashvili, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of Georgia, Mr. Aleksandre Khetaguri, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia, Mr. Giorgi Lortkipanidze, Vice Mayor, Mr. Andria Urushadze and the newly appointed head of the national examination center, Ms. Khatia Dekanoidze. In the first stage Minister Shashkini and the group members evaluated the results of CAT exams giving it a high credit and discussed contextual and logistical issues of the unified national examinations. In the frames of the assumed responsibility, each member of the examination organizational group introduced the activities implemented by the commensurate agency along with future plans.
The specific purpose of the examination organizational group, established in 2011-2012 is to facilitate high standers of high school leaving exams and unified national examinations. The organizational group is under the auspices of the Minsiter Shashkini. The organizational group is composed of Minister of Labor, Health and Social protection of Georgia, Mr. Zurab Chiaberashvili, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of Georgia, Mr. Aleksandre Khetaguri and Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia.
Similar meetings with aim to eliminate discrepancies and interference and facilitate high quality examination process will be held during examination period as well deeming to summarize and evaluate examination process and outcomes.
