Gifts to school students from Tourism National Agency and the Office of School Resource officers of Georgia

Tourism National Agency and School Resource Officers of Educational Institutions presented primary school students of various schools with animated maps. Animated maps have been created by children authors with broad depiction of tourist potential of Georgia. Animated maps will be gradually presented to all schools of Georgia.

The event was held in the framework of the joint project of the office of School Resource Officers of Educational Institutions under the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia and Tourism National Agency.

By the initiative of the head of the Tourism National Agency, Ms. Maia Sidamonidze, animated children’s maps will be gradually presented to all public school students. According to SROs animated maps will facilitate awareness building about Geography, History and cultural monuments and touristic activities of Georgia among school students, aiming to provoke travelling desire in the early age. SROs plan for many other surprises in the future as well.
