General education authentication documents will be issued by Public Service Halls
General education authentication documents will be issued by Public Service Halls and respective agencies of the Civil Registry. This announcement was made by Koka Sepherteladze, First Deputy Minister, and Giorgi Gabrielashvili, chairperson of the Civil Registry under the Ministry of Justice.
General education authentication documents are: secondary education completion diploma; basic education completion diploma and intermediate level of general education completion certificate.
-Secondary education completion diploma is awarded to a person, who completes a secondary level of education ( I-XII);
-Basic education completion diploma is awarded to a person who completes a basic level of education ( I-IXth grades);
-Intermediate level of general education completion certificate is awarded to a person who completes a secondary level of education but does not take high school leaving exams.
Public Service Halls and agencies of the Civil Registry will issue the above mentioned documents based on the electronic data base collected on the basis of the information provided by the Ministry of Education and Science. The same institutions are eligible to issue the duplicates of these documents as well.
