A new school in the village of Mirashkhani, Aspindza Municipality

Construction of a new, modern school started in the village of Mirashkhani, Aspindza Municipality. First Deputy Minister, Koka Seperteladze closely observed the site of construction and met the village population. 

The village of Mirashkhani is located close to Turkey’s Border. The village was founded in 1984, it is a small village but strategically- important.

Up to 70 adults had been studying in a wooden building up to now, the heating system had not been functioning properly either.

From 2012, the schoolchildren will continue studying in a new school which will be in compliant with modern standards. The school will be supplied with school desks, boards, computers, natural science lab, a new heating system will be also installed, and sport pitch will be constructed.

According to Koka Seperteladze, improving a school infrastructure is one of the priorities of the education reform. The Ministry continues working in this direction to ensure the access of every schoolchild to quality education.
