The successful school students of Adjara received gifts from the President. Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Nodar Surguladze, presented 151 tenth graders of Adjara public schools with personal computers.
Around 1022 successful school students throughout Georgia will be awarded the computers this year.
This initiative is being implemented as a part of the President’s national program “My First Computer” and aims at encouraging and supporting the successful school students and increasing an access to modern technologies. The project will be continued in the future.
School students, who have completed a basic level of education (from grades 7 through 9) with honors, became beneficiaries of the above mentioned program for 2012.
