The Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia  will start reorganization of Educational Resource Centers. Deputy Minister Mr. Aluda Goglichidze held a briefing on this issue.

Mr. Aluda Goglichidze has mentioned that in general education the top priority for the Ministry is an access to qualitaty education. Thus it is important  to implement monitoring and evaluation system which will contribute to educational quality enhancement. According to the decision of the Ministry, functions and responsibilities of the existing resource centers will be changed and they will start to monitor teaching and learning process.

According to the above mentioned priority, purpose of the resource centers will be reviewed, competition will be announced and new staff will be selected. on the basis of the competition.

During the process of preparation for the competition, the Ministry will inform society on it’s activities and needs on a regular basis. The process will be transparent  and the Ministry hopes that  all competent bodies and organizations will be involved in it.
