Today, Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Giorgi Margvelashvili met about 40 professors from the initiative group of persons unfairly dismissed for political reasons.

The topic of meeting was - Dialog for action, better education and better university. A number of issues were discussed at the meeting, including:

• Assessment of the situation in Tbilisi State University

(competitions for selection of academic staff and their results).

• Student self-government and the challenges it faces .
• Summarizing the meeting, vision for solution of the problems and prospects in the context of state policy.
