Within the framework of the Project “Democracy starts with you!”, South Caucasus Youth Parliament convened a session in Tsaghkadzor, Armenia. The event was attended by Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Aluda Goglichidze and Minister of Education and Science of Armenia Armen Ashotyan. “Democracy Starts with you!” represents a joint project of Konrad Adenauer Foundation (The Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung) and the EU.
Pupils from different schools of Georgia and Armenia adopted a joint Resolution, which will be presented during the visit to the European Parliament planned in March 18-23, 2013 in Brussels. The Project helps young people to understand and experience democracy and carry out various interesting activities throughout the year.
Ongoing reforms, achievements and future plans were discussed during the visit to Armenia.
Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia is paying the official visit upon the invitation of the Minister of Education of Armenia.
