Another work meeting of the Special Committee

Another
work meeting of Special Committee reviewing cases of persons employed in
Education System of Georgia and dismissed for political reasons was held at the
Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia. 30 initial applications were
reviewed at the meeting. A number of applicants received deficiency letters to
submit additional documentation; others were handed to the Ministry for the
review as the content of these applications were beyond the competences of the
Committee.
Members of the Committee met the applicants in person and held a substantial review of four applications. Applications of those applicants who have already submitted additional documentation to fill up the deficiency are subject to substantial review.
Out of 830, initial review of 630 applications are finished. 105 additional documentations were submitted to the Ministry, 12 applications have been subject to substantial review.
The Committee will organize another meeting shortly.
