The Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia congratulates women with March 8 - Women’s Day and wishes all the success to all women and especially teachers.
Today, Deputy Minister Aluda Goglichidze and Head of Administration Levan Keburia handed presents to the oldest and the youngest teachers.
Deputy Minister visited Eter Garakanidze, 92, a history teacher at public schools in villages Gomi and Melekeduri. Aluda Goglichidze congratulated her with Women’s’ Day and handed presents on behalf of the Ministry.
Ms Eter has been a teacher for 60 years and her lessons are of considerable interest even today. People in the village call her “a person sacrificed to the school”, Ms. Eter is looking for novelties and is helping others all the time. “Only books are new in her house” says principal of Melekeduri Public School.
Head of Administration Levan Keburia congratulated Shalala Nasibova, 18-year-old Informatics teacher at Lambalo Public School in Sagarejo Municipality. Shalala is the youngest teacher in Georgia. She has successfully graduated from vocational college. Shalala has been a teacher for several months, she teaches primary level pupils. Levan Keburia wished her professional success in future.
