Discussion of new Draft Strategy on Vocational Education

Second enlarged meeting held for the introduction of new draft strategy and action plan on vocational education was held at the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia. The meeting was organized within the framework of the EU financed project “Quality Enhancement and Capacity Building Support Programme in VET Sector of Georgia”.

Working process on Vocational Education Strategy 2013-2020 started on January 19 of the current year. Representatives of the Ministry, National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement, Teachers’ Professional Development Center, Vocational Colleges, donor organizations and social partners are involved in the process.

The aim of the enlarged meeting was to introduce to the public the draft strategy and three-year action plan developed based on the comments and remarks. These comments will be taken into consideration in the final version of the document as well.
