Summarizing meeting of Civic Education Project

of Education of Armenia and Azerbaijan summarized the outcomes of “Democracy
Starts with You!”, the project worth of 1,8 million Euro.
Within the Project “Democracy Starts with You!” hundreds of teachers from various regions of Georgia and areas with the population of ethnic minorities were trained in modern methods of civic education and thousands of eleventh graders had an opportunity of experiencing democracy.

With the initiative and support of Konrad Adenauer Stiftung, Dutch Eduardo Frei Foundation, South Caucasus Schools of Political Studies, Gerogian, Azeri and Armenian youth was united under the idea of active citizenship. As a result of the Project, Association of Civic Education Teachers and South Caucasus Youth Parliament were set up.
