With the aim of discussing perspectives for European cooperation a work meeting was organized with Georgian school principals and teachers at Teachers’ Professional Development Center.
A work meeting within the framework of European Week was organized in partnership with Office of State Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration. Aleksi Petriashvili, State Minister of Office of State Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration and Davit Zurabishvili, Deputy Minister of Education and Science attended the meeting.
Detailed information on Program “Pestalotsi” was presented at the meeting. This is a training program implemented by Council of Europe within the framework of European Cultural Convention. “Pestalotsi” gives opportunity to Georgian teachers to cooperate with European colleagues with the aim of planning and implementing educational programs, establish professional contacts with teachers of different types of schools and specialists in Europe.
The aim of the Program is to encourage popularization of education, specifically, the process of life-long professional development by means of offering ways for professional development.
