Foreign volunteer teachers were awarded with Certificates

Successful
volunteer teachers of the program “Teach and Learn with Georgia” were handed
Certificates. Two best teachers were awarded with Certificates of Appreciation
and medals by Minister of Education and Science Giorgi Margvealshvili.
English-speaking as well as Chineese volunteers participated in the event.
Among the guests were representatives of Diplomatic Corps and international
organizations.
“Teach and Learn with Georgia” started in 2010. Within the program, volunteer teachers from different countries of the world come to Georgia to teach English and Chinese with local teachers.
Currently, 152 English and 10 Chinese language teachers participate in the Program. It is planned to send English language teachers to small family-type houses during the summer.
