Basketball tournament final held at Sports Palace

Basketball
tournament final was held between the teams of 1Experimental School and 52
Georgian Cadet Public School within the framework of the Project initiated by
the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia aimed at popularization of
sport among teenagers.
School championship was organized by the Ministry and Georgian Basketball Federation. 1 Experimental School won the championship.
Teams of 24 Public School, 1 Experimental public School, School “Logos”, 199 Komarov School, 52 Georgian Cadet Public School, 53 Public School, School “Mtsignobartukhutsesi”, 23 Public School participated in the tournament.
Sports classes were introduced in public schools instead of physical training classes from 2011. Corresponding teaching program was elaborated, teachers were trained and infrastructure was updated. The process became more interesting for the pupils
