45 juveniles within the age of 14 to 18 serve sentence in №11 Special Establishment for Juveniles. They are provided with the opportunity to receive same quality education in the semi-open type establishment as other children. These pupils are listed in 123 Public School. Teachers of all subjects go to the Establishment and teach according to National Curriculum. Football, rugby, guitar and wood-cut sections for juveniles are functioning in the Special Establishment. Building of new teaching area was finished, so the juveniles will be able to study in separate, comfortable and modern building starting from next year.
In order to ensure life-long learning, the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia is running educational program in the penitentiary system. All inmates who express their desire are provided with appropriate conditions for learning. This is the result of effective inter-agency cooperation.
