Principal of village Sadakhlo №2 Public School received award of the Ministry

Today, Minister of Education and Science Giorgi Margvelashvili handed pectoral award “Amagdari” to Adil Sharifov, Principal of Sadakhlo №2 Public School.

Adil Sharifov, 70 has been working in the School for 50 years. He was a teacher in Sadakhlo Public School for 5 years, later Adil Sharifov became Chief of Educational Section in the same school. The rest of 26 years he has been the principal. Adil Sharifov, an active person with high sense of responsibility has received a number of state awards for his merits.  He has never abandoned the school during hard times.

With the initiative of Giorgi Margvelashvili, Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, pectoral award “Amagdari” was established for special merits in upbringing of future generations.

Aim of awarding “Amagdari” is to express appreciation of merits of those who work in the field of education, to raise motivation and to encourage new projects and initiatives. Initially, the Ministry shall award 10 teachers of Georgian public schools.
