Telavi University students to pass internship in banks

memorandum was signed between Telavi Iakob Gogebashvili State University and
Telavi banking sector. Ceremony of signing was attended by Minister of
Education and Science of Georgia Giorgi Margvelashvili. According
to the Memorandum, banks are responsible for employment of second, third and
fourth year Bachelor and Master students of the Department of Economy.
Employment implies internship in banks and microfinance organizations in Telavi. Coming out from the needs of banking sector, successful students can be employed in banks. Bank Republic has selected 8 students for internship. The bank has already employed one successful student.
Bank Republic, VTB, TBC Bank, Kor Standard Bank, ProCredit Bank, Bank Constanta, Cartu Bank, Bank of Georgia, Liberty Bank, Basisbank, Tao Private Bank are offering internships during summer holidays.
Minister Margvelashvili met with students after signing the Memorandum. The students were able to ask questions to the Minister and receive detailed answers.
