Construction of a new school shall start in village Sadguri Sviri, Zestaponi District. Today, Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Giorgi Margvelashvili and Zestaponi Majoritarian MP Gogi Kavtaradze visited Sviri and the site where the new school will be constructed. Minister met teachers and the village residents.
For several decades, pupils from village Sadguri Sviri have been going to an old building with improper teaching and learning conditions. Teaching process has been conducted in station buildings. In 25 meters from the building a high voltage sub-station is operating, and elementary hygiene conditions are lacking. Electromagnetic radiation is also present in the area.
Two-storey modern school with new equipment, central heating, library, computer class, laboratory and sports field will be constructed. Currently 74 pupils are enrolled in the school. New school project is designed for 120 pupils.
