Armenian and Azerbaijani teachers were awarded with certificates

Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Aluda Goglichidze and Head of the Center of Civil Integration and Inter-ethnic Relations Shalva Tabatadze awarded 40 Armenian and Azerbaijani teachers with certificates.

Exchange program “Teachers Partnership between Kvemo Kartli /Samtskhe-Javakheti and other regions of Georgia.” The program aimed at professional development of elementary level teachers of non-Georgian Schools and partnership between Georgian and non-Georgian schools.  

Within the program, elementary level Armenian and Azerbaijani teachers have worked together with Georgian teachers in Georgian schools of Tbilisi and the regions for a month. The teachers attended lessons conducted by their colleagues and participated in the process of lesson planning.

The project was implemented by the Center of Civil Integration and Inter-ethnic Relations with the financial support of OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities and in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia.
