The forum was attended by more than 80 representatives from 10 countries. “Humane Pedagogy Code” project was discussed at the meeting. The Code shall be presented for approval to the participants of the 13th International Conference in 2014.
The issues concerning main directions of pedagogical thinking, development of teaching system, classic and humane pedagogy were discussed at the meeting. Shalva Amonashvili talked about personality approach to and problems of humane pedagogy.
Shalva Amonashvili founded №1 Experimental School and a pedagogical laboratory 50 years ago. The laboratory worked on new methods of teaching. Shalva Amonashvili has been working in Russia for the past few years; he is the head of Humane Pedagogy International Center, owns private publishing house in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Tyumen and other cities in Russia. Shalva Amonashvili is running 250 laboratories for pedagogic research in post Soviet countries, among them in Ukraine and the Baltic states.
